Hard Loss - Pet Loss - The Best Dog in the World is Now in Heaven

It is still unbelievable to me that I am composing this message for you all - my friends, clients, colleagues, mentors, mentees, and the wonderful individuals I have yet to encounter.

My beloved boxer boy Spencer went to heaven on September 11th of this year, 2024, and it was what felt like a tortuous loss for my heart to undertake. Yes, that word has a little drama, but it is the truth of my heart and life felt after he departed to heaven.

Today, 8 weeks after his death, I continue to have a heart posture of gratitude that our Heavenly Father gave me my sweet boy to experience life with for 10.5 years, that He is taking care of Spencer in Heaven, and that we will be reunited in heaven.

AND...I continue to have many messy moments and sometimes entire days of grief, sadness, frustration, loneliness, etc., all the things that come with losing your best friend, child, confidant, companion, fun-loving, care-free-joy-filled bundle of joy.

Taking advice from my book Pet Loss And Divine Healing, I am honoring my grief, honoring my sweet Spencer, and continuing to help and serve others in the best way possible.
